Jeff and Hannah Barnes were called in the fall of 2004 to go into full time ministry. As God has given them a heart for hurting young people, through their own ministry they have been involved in ministering to young women. Through at different times they have been involved in different ministries their entire married life. “The thrill of seeing God turn a life around is one of our greatest joys.” They are members of “Coos County Christian Fellowship”, and have seven children who all love the Lord.
At the age 20 I was a dysfunctional young adult searching for a reason to live. My Uncle Jim encouraged me to read the Bible. First, I realized through scripture that Jesus didn’t just know about God, He knew the Father personally. Second, when he said: “Get the beam out of your own eye” he was talking to me. Finally when Jesus said: “You are either for me or you are against me.” I realized I had been against him. My sinner’s prayer was very simple: “Jesus, I want to change sides.” I wish that everybody would experience the life changing relationship offered by Jesus!
I was saved at the age of 21. In my late teen years I began searching for the truth. I explored different eastern religions, but each left me dissatisfied. During the time of my deepest depression I found a Bible and read the scripture "I am the way, the truth, and the life no one comes to the Father but through me." I believed that instantly and accepted Christ as my Savior.
