Ministering to the Jehovah Witnesses

The Jehovah Witnesses are a dedicated society, thus many Christians are afraid to invite them into their homes, quoting from 2nd John:

If there come any unto you, and bring not this doctrine, receive him not into your house, neither bid him Godspeed: For he that biddeth him Godspeed is partaker of his evil deeds. 
- 2 John 1:10-11

However, does not the Great Commission mean we should try to reach them too? Preaching the gospel to a JW is not partaking of his evil deeds. However If you let a member of any cult stay in your house as he proselytizes your neighborhood then you are partaking in his deeds. However, sharing the Gospel is not forbidden.

And Paul dwelt two whole years in his own hired house, and received all that came in unto him, - Acts 28:30

In meekness instructing those that oppose themselves; if God peradventure will give them repentance to the acknowledging of the truth. - 2 Timothy 2:25

Whether you allow them into your house or not, always be kind to them. Behavior that they can interpret as persecution reinforces their belief that they are in God's true organization (See Matthew 5:10). If you are not well versed in the Bible, do as they do, pair up with a brother who is. Do not be afraid to share any verse, even those that curse those who tamper with the scripture, just do it gently (or pose it as a question) if you want them to hear you.

Does the Bible Teach the Deity of Jesus Christ?

This study is directed mainly toward the Jehovah's Witnesses and to those who try to witness to them. What is at stake in this Bible study? If Jesus is not God, than to worship Him is a form of Idolatry. If Jesus is God, than not to worship Him is to deny the Lord that bought us.

This study is to help you witness to the Jehovah's Witnesses when they knock on your door. While there are many doctrines that separate them from Christianity, their belief that Jesus did not resurrect bodily from the dead is one of the most surprising.

Does the Bible teach 'Soul-sleep'?

Is understanding soul-sleep important? Yes, some use soul-sleep in trying to disprove the deity of Jesus Christ. If Jesus' soul ceased to exist for the three days that he was in the tomb, than he cannot be God. Does the Bible Teach Eternal Punishment?

Could a loving God, as some teach, cast someone, even if he never heard the gospel, into an eternal fire? While the Bible does not teach those who never heard receive eternal torment, it does say that those who reject the Gospel are damned. Studying the Bible, we see God is love; we also see that he will not compromise His righteous character.

Did Jehovah give His authority to the governing body of the Jehovah withesses? This study looks at the governing body and appeals the the JW that he cannot serve two masters.
