Does the Bible Teach a Pretribulation Rapture?

We are entering a critical time in history. Jesus said:

Take heed to yourselves, lest at any time your hearts be overcharged with [...] cares of this life, and so that day come upon you unawares. For as a snare shall it come on all them that dwell on the face of the whole earth. - Luke 21:34-35

If the pretribulation rapture is true, then many end time Scriptures do not apply to us. But if the Bible does not teach a pretribulation rapture, then when we enter the most important time in modern history, many in the church will be completely unprepared. In this study, we will look at the Scriptures used to teach a pretrib rapture. I hope that reading these passages in context will help you to prepare.

Since September 11, 2001, the leaders of the United States have compromised our moral values in order to protect the country from terrorist attacks.

Torture

Our biggest transgression has been the torture (water boarding) of prisoners in order to obtain a confession. To get an idea of what water-boarding look like, you can watch an old Mel Gibson movie called Conspiracy Theory, where Mel acted as a victim of water board torture.

Removing our conscience

Since early 2009, the federal government has tried to remove the conscious clause from federal funding. This means that Doctors and nurses as well as other individuals will have to perform abortions or other procedures that violate their personal conscience in a hospital or institution that receives federal dollars.

The time may be soon, when you have to take The Mark of the Beast in order to buy or sell. Are you willing to speak up now? If not, how will you have the courage to resist it the mark then?

Pro-lifers are now terrorists

In April 2009, the Department of Homeland Security has just labeled pro-lifers as terrorists. Those Americans who believe in the sanctity of human life are now the bad guys.

Terrorists may be arrested, and detained without a trial. They do not have a right to legal council, or any of the other protections from the Bill of Rights, they may even be tortured to get a confession. How would God have you get involved?

I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men; For kings, and for all that are in authority; that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty. For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior; - 1 Timothy 2:1-3

Run away federal spending

Every time our federal government spends one billion dollars it costs every man, woman and child three dollars each.

Our federal deficit reached 11.24 trillion dollars in April 2009. less than a year later (Feb 2010) it is 12.75 trillion dollars. This is over $40,000 for each one of us.

The rich ruleth over the poor, and the borrower is servant to the lender.

At www.bloomberg.com, Brian Faler says that our deficit for the fiscal year 2009 is $1.85 trillion. This means they are going to put each citizen $5,550 deeper in debt.

The day of reckoning may be soon.
